On-campus security measures (Dec. 2012)

During the year-end and New Year holidays, the university campuses will become quieter than usual. For this reason, trespassing by suspicious individuals and cases of burglary may occur (or increase) on campus. Prevention measures are as follows:

  • Make sure to lock the entrance/laboratory doors.
  • Speak to strangers hanging around your lab/room and confirm their identities.
  • Report suspicious individuals or incidents to the nearest security office.

In addition to the above, make sure that you do not drink and drive — bicycles are also considered as vehicles — after events such as a year-end party.
